Lidar Extractor Remote
Control your Raven from your phone: start a scan, live preview, remote screen and transfer to the desktop.
Install outside the Play Store: allow “unknown sources” when prompted.
What's new — v0.9.8
Major fix: point clouds no longer come in tilted. A leveling step was re-applying a correction the SLAM engine had already made — scans came out tilted by your pole angle (15–30° per user reports), and every splat dataset started off skewed. Fixed and verified on real scans (24.5° → 3.4°). Faithful outdoor colors: white balance used to flatten vegetation-dominated scenes (lawns and foliage came out gray); it now relies on neutral surfaces only, and brightening preserves saturation. Exposure harmonization across images (bright/dark seams fade away). Readable X-ray mode: reflectivity contrast stretched (measured ×5). Official SHARE S20 support: automatic import (YAML calibration, in-bag images, RTK), with automatic clock realignment. Per-point normals exported to PLY (optional). GPU viewer: fine points even up close. Splat downloads: no longer restart when switching tabs, land in their originating project, and a dialog offers to open that project. New coordinate systems: RDN2008 / UTM 32-33-34N for Italy (EPSG:6707/6708/6709 — customer request), ETRS89 UTM 32-33N and WGS84 UTM 31-34N. More robust cloud job tracking (silent retries instead of an error). PPK: use your own base station — raw u-blox .ubx files accepted directly (SparkFun, Emlid…), RINEX or RTCM, with precise base position entry (e.g. OPUS solution); choice remembered per project.

macOS & Windows app that decodes the proprietary .amap format and reconstructs point clouds (LiDAR SLAM) straight from your scanner, then exports them to XYZ, PLY and E57. Works with Raven Standard and Raven Max (RTK, 2 cameras, GNSS georeferencing).
Features
Automatic 2D floor plan
The app draws the property plan from the cloud: walls, doors and rooms with areas. Built-in editor: walls with thickness, doors/windows with dimensions and swing direction, room names, dimension lines — with the cloud as an underlay for corrections.
PDF, SVG & DXF plans
Plan export to PDF at standard scale (1:50, 1:100… or US scales) with a professional title block, A4/A3/Letter/Tabloid; SVG; multi-layer DXF (walls, doors, windows, names, rooms, cloud) for AutoCAD.
.amap decoding
Raven format read, validated point-for-point (3D RMS 0.004 mm).
Native SLAM
Reconstructs raw scans (no .amap): LiDAR odometry with tightly-coupled IMU fusion (IESKF) and loop closure — well-aligned rooms even on multi-wing scans.
Exports
XYZ, PLY, E57 and georeferenced LAS (UTM/EPSG), with optional camera colorization.
3D viewer
Built-in preview (CPU/GPU), opens .las files, viewer over a map background (OpenStreetMap / satellite) and export to CloudCompare.
Measurement tools
Slice, crop, erase and measurements (length, area) right in the cloud.
Worldwide cm georeferencing
Automatic RTK post-processing (PPK): the app downloads the EUREF reference station nearest to your site — anywhere in Europe, no on-board base — for centimeter georeferencing.
Hesai & Livox LiDAR
Supports scanners with Hesai JT16 LiDAR (Raven — 16 channels, 360°×40°, 100 m range, ±3 cm accuracy) and Livox (e.g. Eagle): automatic sensor detection.
macOS & Windows, multilingual
Available on macOS and Windows, interface in French, English, Spanish and German, with project management.
Raven Standard & Max
1 or 2 cameras (stereo colorization) and GNSS / RTK georeferencing: point cloud in metric ENU coordinates, north up.
